A lab for personal infrastructure

Meta-Me is an ongoing experiment in what it looks like to stay genuinely organised around what actually matters: not tasks and notifications, but the bigger picture of a life and career.

Why it exists

Businesses track their relationships, manage their knowledge, understand their finances, and make deliberate decisions about where to put their energy. Most people do none of this for themselves. Not because they don't care, but because no one built the infrastructure for it.

Meta-Me is that infrastructure. A hub that sits across a set of small, focused tools, each owning one part of running yourself well. Knowledge, relationships, finances, health, growth. Each tool stands on its own, and the hub stitches them together so a single chat can reach into all of them at once.

Built for one. Opened up to anyone who finds it useful.

Who built it

Meta-Me is built and maintained by Joe Jarlett, a former CTO and EdTech founder who came back through a master's in Psychology and ended up here, building the kind of personal-operating-system he wished existed.

The work spans depth psychology, knowledge graphs, AI memory, and the question of how technology can support human flourishing without optimising it into the ground. Meta-Me is the practical edge of all that: what it actually looks like to run yourself well, day to day, with real tools.

There's a longer story at joejarlett.co.uk if you want it.

What this is, and what it isn't

Meta-Me is not productivity software. It's not a unified inbox, not a task manager, not a "second brain" out of a YouTube thumbnail. It's a small set of focused tools that each do one thing well, plus a hub that lets you talk to them all at once.

The tools are multi-tenant by design. Built for one, usable by many. They live on independent subdomains (kb.meta-me.uk, crm.meta-me.uk, finances.meta-me.uk, analytics.meta-me.uk), and the hub at meta-me.uk is the single place to discover them, theme them, and run cross-app workflows.
